India's largest commodity bourse multi commodity exchange is launching commodity trading in res arecanut from the second week of August.
Thripuras forest development and plantation corporation has commissioned a rubber factory, get the help from China, Germany And Taiwan. China, Germany and Taiwan have providing rubber wood processing technologies and machineries. Tripura is the second largest rubber producing state in India after Kerala.
Rubber research Institute of India has developed a new anaerobic process for processing waste water in rubber latex production units. The process involves the digestion of bioparticles in the waste water. The anaerobic reactor has been instaled at palakkad.
The natural rubber production in india witnessed a slide in 2007-08. The extended monsoon and widespread of abnormal leaf fall the reason for the shortage in production.
The rubber market showed a better trend yeserday. According to sources sentiments continued to be firm on domestic fundamentals. Most of the plantations were badly affected by continuing showers resulting in disruption of tapping.
